In The Mood For Color

In The Mood For Color

Today’s card is inspired by AECP course In The Mood For Color.

This class was all about colors, the emotions attached to them, and applying those colors and feelings in your card.
And today, I was feeling optimistic. I chose yellow, a happy and cheerful color, for some citrus-inspired shaker card!
I’ve used the pun-packed Main Squeeze Stamp Set to create some lovely lemons, and also heat-embossed them for a matching background.

Some tips for this card:
– For added interest, break a monochromatic shaker card with a bit of filling in another color.
– Don’t forget your anti-static powder! For both the heat embossing but also for the foam adhesive. This way, the filling won’t stick to the sides. As I was writing these lines, I noticed I missed this step…
– Sometimes it is fun to attach an element on top of the shaker. Not all of the shaker has to be exposed! In this card I hid a small part of the shaker with the lemon slice.

Thank you for reading, and see you next card!
