My card today was inspired by the AECP course For The Guys.
I’ve used the Dot Art Stamp Set, grey & black ink, and Cool Summer Night Enamel Dots.
The stamped layer has inversion symmetry which I achieved by using a stamping tool and rotating the cardstock at 180 degrees and re-stamping. It was supposed to be a black & white card card, but when I finished with the stamping it seems something was missing. I’ve pulled out enamel dots and chose matching cardstock for matting.
My tips for today:
- In a card like this, it is best to start at the sentiment and stamp your way to the edges.
- make sure some of the images are partial and the edges are cut off – this gives a continues feeling.
- Enamel dots are a great solution when you need a little extra color.
That is one cool card! Nice tips too!
