Color Your Day

Color Your Day

Today’s card is inspired by AECP course Color Your Day.

This course is about finding colors combinations and inspirations.
One of the suggestions in this course is to try to be inspired by the Altenew monthly challenge, so I did just that. Even though this color palette doesn’t speak to me, I think I did quite well.

As a base for this card, I’ve used a patterned paper from the Verdant Walk 6×6 Paper Pack. Using Altenew’s Desert Night alcohol marker, I’ve colored the white flowers so my paper will match the challenge’s colors. To finish the card, I’ve added letters and matting colored in Ruby Red.

Don’t be afraid to modify your patterned papers – yes, even the really pretty ones!

That is all for today. see you next card!

Kudos for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying a palette that you are not comfortable with, my colour palettes are not everyone’s cup of tea 🙂
Thank you for submitting your work to the AECP assignment gallery.
