Easy Ink Blending Techniques

Easy Ink Blending Techniques

  • Post category:AECP / English

Today’s card is inspired by AECP course Easy Ink Blending Techniques.

I decided to create a present with “ribbon” and bow.

Using the Bells and Bows Stamp Set, Shades of Purple ink set , blending tool and masking paper,  I created a cross shape to represent ribbon on a present. I then stamped the bow image, placed it at the middle of the ribbon, and finished the card with a sentiment from Painted Greetings Stamp Set and some sequins for shine.

Some tips for this card:

  • Don’t be afraid to use your trimmer with masking paper! this will insure straight edges.
  • A T-Ruler is a useful and inexpensive tool to get the masking paper to line up from all sides.
  • I’ve used a main color in the center and a darker shade on the edges to give it a more dimentional feeling.

That’s my card for today. see you next card!

This looks wonderful! I can see the darker colour on the edges. Good job!
